This spring, a new "gritty indie 2D hi-bit pixel action-RPG" will hit the scene. It's called The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story and it will take players with raising a mage army and leading a revolution. You know, simple stuff.

This game is being by Digital Sun, the studio behind Moonlighter, and it's in development for PC and unspecified consoles.

The Mageseeker takes you to the lands of Demacia, a "mighty kingdom in the world of Runeterra that seeks to curtail what it deems as forbidden magic while wielding magic themselves to maintain order." You are an escaped mage named Sylas that is seeking a bit of the ol' revenge and to shatter a false peace that was "built with the blood and sweat of mages."

The Mageseeker's publisher, Riot Forge, also revealed some new details about a few other releases in the pipeline. There is the single player 2D action platformer called Convergence: A League of Legends Story. This one is from Double Stallion Games and is coming summer 2023. Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story from Tequila Works will be available Fall 2023. These games are coming to consoles both new and old as well as PC.
