    Current and Former Employees Sue Riot Games for Gender Discrimination

    A class-action lawsuit has kicked off against Riot Games, publisher of League of Legends, that accuses the studio of gender-based discrimination. The lawsuit, began by one former employee and one current employee say that the studio has a "men-first" environment.

    According to Kotaku, the lawsuit claims that the two employees, both female, have been "denied equal pay and found their careers stifled because they are women." The suit continues on to say that the employees have "seen t heir working conditions negatively impacted because of the ongoing sexual harassment, misconduct, and bias which predominate the sexually-hostile working environment of Riot Games." The lawsuit also claims that Riot has violated California's Equal Pay Act and law against gender-based discrimination at the workplace....
