Focus Entertainment and developer Flyign Wild Hog just announced the release date for their upcoming dark fantasy, third-person action game called Evil West. We first heard about this one back at The Game Awards in the far-off time of December 2021. This take on the Weird Wild West will be out on September 20, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Pre-orders are available right now through either Steam or the Focus Entertainment Store. The Steam release is $49.99 (USD). I do not know if there will be an extra $10 "next-gen" charge on this as the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store have not yet opened pre-orders at the time of posting.
New screenshots and a new trailer were also released today to coincide with the release date announcement.
Evil West can be played through solo or with a co-op partner. Take on a bunch of nasty vampires and outlaws in highly stylized action from the studio that brought us the Shadow Warrior games and their latest game, Trek to Yomi.
