Dying Light free upgrade

Techland just dropped some big news today for those who own the Standard Edition of Dying Light. If you are one of those people, you are now getting a free upgrade to the Enhanced Edition. This means that you now have access to The Following expansion, The Bozak Horde, some new skins, and much more.

Not only that, but Dying Light received new content today for everyone to partake of. Patch 1.49 offers "a wealth of new content" for the original Dying Light. You can get a new blueprint from participating in a Tolga and Fatin Event. This event will see players joining forces to kill 10 million of the infected.

A new paid DLC was also released. This includes the new Gut Render chainsaw weapon, a new outfit, two additional weapons, and a new buggy skin. This is all included in the new Dieselpunk DLC.

The Dieselpunk bundle contains:
  • Chainsaw — Gut Render (bleeding effect, destroying enemies' armor, high chance for critical damage)
  • SMG — Greaser
  • Saw blade — Flesh Ripper (medium bleeding effect)
  • New Outfit — Punk'd Beret
  • New buggy skin — Rugged Roadster (50% slower fuel usage)
Techland also updated the Hellraid DLC with its final update. This includes various tweaks and improvements along with the pistol, Deathbringer. There is also a reworked armory and new Crystal consumables that offer unique buffs.

Finally, there is also an update for the Be the Zombie PvP mode. There have been changes made based on "years of insight and feedback" from the community. Be sure to check out the full list of fixes and changes.
