During today's Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, a new VR game was announced. Shocking, I know. One such new announcement was for Ghostbusters VR, a new Quest 2 title where you will be running your own ghostbusting business set in San Francisco. This game will be a "new chapter" in the Ghostbusters universe, meaning that it won't be based off of previous games or movies.
Though you are running a business, you can still partake of the ghostbusting first-hand. That, or you can team up with up to three of your friends for some campaign co-op in VR. To bust these ghosts, players will again use familiar tools such as the proton pack, trap, and more.
Ghostbusters VR is being developed by nDreams, the studio behind other VR games such as Far Cry VR: Dive into Insanity. A release date has not yet been set but it is expected to be out within the next year. Other platforms besides the Meta Quest 2 were not announced.
