Members of the Starfield development team took the time to create a new entry in their "Into the Starfield" series. This series takes you behind the scenes on the ongoing development of Starfield with a focus on different key areas in each video.

The latest, released today is called Made for Wanderers and has game director Todd Howard, design director Emil Pagliarulo, lead quest designer Will Shen, and lead artist Istvan Pely detailing their "team's approach to designing an immersive, next-generation RPG that gives players the freedom to navigate their own path through the cosmos." The four have a little roundtable discussion, so don't expect to see much in the way of new game footage here.

Bethesda promises that more episodes of Into the Starfield will be coming in the months ahead to give players a deeper look into the game.

Starfield is coming exclusively to the Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11, 2022. This is assuming it isn't delayed because in this day and age, everything ends up being delayed.

Starfield Review Averages Sit at Upper 80s
      by Shawn Zipay
See what critics are saying about the most anticipated game of 2023.

The first major wave of reviews are in for Starfield and, well, they aren't bad. They're not super great either but they certainly aren't bad.

According to OpenCritic, Starfield currently sits at an average review score of 87% with 93% of all reviewers recommending the game. The scores for this one seem to range from as low as 50% to as high as 100% (or 10 out of 10 to be more specific).

      Review: Starfield

A safe, if not soulless, journey through the cosmos.

Bethesda Game Studios releases are safe. They are familiar. You know almost exactly what to expect when a major new release from them rolls around. They instill a feeling of "I know this game won't be groundbreaking, but I know I'll have fun." Yes, there are some obvious differences, but the heart of each Bethesda game is almost universally the same. The recent release of Starfield is no different. To put it bluntly: Starfiel...

Starfield Design Director Calls it the Best Game Bethesda Ever Made
      by Shawn Zipay
      Yeah, about that...

Starfield has been lingering at a "Mixed" Steam review score for basically the entirety of its life. The game's first major expansion, Shattered Space, came out just this week but is currently sitting at a "Mostly Negative" user score. Heck, even critic scores for Shattered Space are only at 52%. Still, Starfield is "the best game" Bethesda ever made, so long as you believe the words from Starfield design director Emil Pagliarulo....
