Microsoft released a new update for their Xbox Cloud Gaming service on those using an iPad or iPhone. In a new Xbox blog post talking about the update, Xbox product managers Nicole Hilbert and Akshar Pandia say that this update offers "major performance improvements."

Microsoft says that since implementing the improvements, they have seen a "significant increase in positive player feedback." They have also seen players spending 35% more time playing games.

In order to try these updates out for yourself, simply direct your supported iPad or iPhone to xbox.com/play through Safari. Then, just sign in with your Microsoft account. You can also leave feedback if you have suggestions or issues.

To play, pin the website to your Home screen:
  1. Launch the Safari browser then go to Xbox.com/play.
  2. Select the Share button, then select Add to Home Screen.
To leave feedback, while in-game, locate the three dots (‘…’) on the top left and press ‘Feedback’.
