Guy Beahm, aka Dr Disrespect, was permanently banned from Twitch back in June 2020. At the time, nobody in the public had any knowledge as to why the two-timer was banned. Though we still don't know why he was permanently banned, we at least arrived at a point where we can safely say the battle between Twitch and Beahm has come to an end.

In 2021, Beahm filed a lawsuit against Twitch claiming that the loss of his channel resulted in a negative financial impact and did damage to his reputation. This week, that lawsuit has been settled with neither side really elaborating on much of anything.

In a brief statement, Beahm says, "I have resolved my legal dispute with Twitch. No party admits to any wrongdoing."

Oh, but what does Twitch have to say about this resolution?

"Dr Disrespect and Twitch have resolved their legal dispute. No party admits to any wrongdoing."
Oh.

So yeah, this settlement isn't exactly the most detailed. We do not know if either party had to pay anything to the other in this settlement. If they did pay anything, we do not know how much was paid.

What we do know is that Beahm will not be returning to Twitch. At present, Beahm continues to stream on YouTube and has made the jump back into game development with Midnight Society.
