Deceive or be deceived, now in virtual reality. Among Us VR was just announced last night. The VR version of the game will launch on the Oculus Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, and SteamVR whenever it's ready to be released. This VR adaptation is in development by Schell Games, the development studio behind the well regarded I Expect You to Die VR franchise.

Though the game will be in 3D and VR, the core mechanics remain largely the same. The debut trailer, seen below, shows that tasks will now be carried out in ways that make sense in a VR space. It also shows that you should always be on your guard and keeping an eye on those vents.

Among Us first released back in 2018 for the PC and mobile devices. Since then it was released on the Nintendo Switch in 2020. A PlayStation and Xbox release of Among Us is happening on December 14, 2021.
