Free games are being offered as part of a five year anniversary celebration.

Sony is giving away three PlayStation VR titles to all PlayStation Plus subscribers in November 2021. This is being done as part of the headset's fifth birthday celebration. Included in today's announcement is word about what the most-played PlayStation VR titles of all time have been.

I guess that stipulation about needing a PlayStation Plus subscription to get these games is a bit of a misnomer. It certainly would have been an even better celebration if Sony had just given these away for "free" free, but it is what it is.

The free PlayStation VR games coming in November will be in addition to the regular lineup of monthly PlayStation Plus titles.

So, what are the games? Nobody knows. Sony did not actually announce what these three additional, free PSVR are going to be. That's cool, I guess.

In lieu of actually announcing the games that you'll get, Sony did share some information about what the most played PSVR titles have been. The most played games globally can be seen below.
