The final chapter and the 1.0 release of V Rising is out on May 8. If you're reading this on May 6 when this news post is going live, that means V Rising's 1.0 release is just two days away on Steam. A PS5 release is coming but at a later date.
V Rising is an action-RPG where you are a vampire. You live as a vampire doing vampire things while just trying to survive in a world where a lot of people want you dead. It's an open-world adventure that combines a thirst for blood with survival, combat, and castle building.
If you played V Rising when it entered into Early Access and haven't played for a while, there's a lot of new stuff for you to check out in the 1.0 release. There will be 57 bosses and seven regions to explore including the 1.0 addition of the Ruins of Mortium. This is "a vast wintry area that was once a thriving bastion of vampire civilization, now shrouded in desolation and haunted by the remnants of Dracula's cult-like followers." As for Dracula, yeah, you'll be able to take him on upon reaching the end of the Ruins of Mortium.
The highly anticipated full release of V Rising is set to launch on May 8th, promising an unforgettable journey into the realm of vampires and power struggles. The release date for PlayStation 5 is yet to be unveiled.
