Turn 10 Studios just announced the various hardware you will need to run Forza Horizon 5 on the PC. They offer up some minimum system requirements, recommended specs, and something they're calling "ideal specs." Sadly, Turn 10 did not specify what resolution and framerate they were targeting with any of these tiers, so... that sucks.
In addition to the specs, seen below, Turn 10 also talks a little bit about some of the PC specific features that are included in Forza Horizon 5. There is also word about some of the most popular steering wheels that will be supported at launch. Without further ado, let's check out those hardware requirements.
Perhaps the biggest standout requirement there is the amount of storage space you'll need. 110GB is a lot, in case you didn't know.
Some of the PC features include things like unlocked framerates, support for 4K resolution, the ability to enable HDR, and yes, you can even adjust the FOV. The PC version also supports 21:9 ultrawide resolutions. The PC version will also support haptic feedback on the Xbox Wireless Controller, including the Steam release.
Turn 10 says that they will support the most popular steering wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec. These include:
- Logitech: Driving Force, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923PS, G923XB, Momo
- Thrustmaster: Ferrari 458, T150 RS, T300 RS, T500 RS, TMX, T-GT, TS-XW, TX, TS-PC
- Fanatec: V1, V2, V2.5, CSL, CSL DD, DD1, DD2, Universal HUB device
Forza Horizon 5 is slated to be released on November 9. Pre-orders are currently available through the Microsoft Store and Steam. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also get access to the game when it launches.
