When you think of Mario's voice, the first person that comes to mind is none other than the legendary Charles Martinet. He's been the iconic voice of Mario for decades now. Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto is having none of that! None!

In the future, when you think of Mario's voice, you're going to think of Chris Pratt. Yes, Chris Pratt. Luigi? Charlie Day. Bowser? Jack Black.

What? What is this weird timeline we're living in?

Miyamoto announced the list of Hollywood actors that will voice some of the main characters in the Mario movie that is slated to be released on December 21, 2022.

• Chris Pratt as Mario
• Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach
• Charlie Day as Luigi
• Jack Black as Bowser
• Keegan-Michael Key as Toad
• Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong
• and Charles Martinet will be voicing some cameos

Miyamoto says that he has been working closely with Chris Meledandri, the CEO of Illumination Studios on this project for a little while now.
