Everybody likes free. That seems to be something that Ubisoft is aware of because they're making Far Cry 5 available to play for free this weekend. You can play it for free via either the Epic Games Store or Ubisoft Connect on PC. You can also play during the free weekend on Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia. Yeah, it's strangely not going to be available for free on Steam, which is a platform known for its free weekends. Weird.

Anyway, the free period starts tomorrow, August 5 and will run until August 9. You can preload the game right now so that you're ready to go the moment it's available tomorrow. Speaking of which, the weekend begins at 6AM (PT) through Ubisoft Connect and at 10AM (PT) on the Epic Games Store. Xbox One, Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 starts at 12:01AM (PT). Stadia is at 10AM (PT).
