It shows off the list of characters that will be included in the film.

A new teaser poster for the upcoming Resident Evil live-action film was released yesterday evening. It shows off some spooky wooded area, presumably the forest surrounding the Spencer mansion. We also get a look at the list of Resident Evil characters that will appear in the film along with a little nod to the locked door symbols at the bottom of the poster.

The film will make its theatrical debut on September 3, 2021. It's directed by Johannes Roberts. It was written by Roberts and Greg Russo. It will server as a reboot for the Resident Evil film series. It's set in 1998 and is based off of the events of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.
