Today, Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be added to the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. These fighters are part of the Challenger Pack 9 DLC, and includes a new stage and selection of music tracks from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. For the sake of simplicity, these two fighters are actually considered to be one selection on the fighter select screen. However, you can alternate between them at any point during a fight.
A new video was also released this morning that shines a spotlight on the fighters, the Cloud Sea of Alrest stage, and the move set for each fighter. You can find that below at the bottom of this post.
Challenger Pack 9 can be yours for just $29.99 (USD). It includes today's duo of fighters along with Min Min from ARMS, Steve and Alex from Minecraft, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, and still two more fighters that have not yet been announced. Each fighter can also be purchased separately for $5.99 (USD) if you want.
Also releasing today are new paid Mii Fighter costumes. These include Arthur's Armor from Ghosts 'N Goblins, along with the Rathalos Armor and Hunter Armor from Monster Hunter.

As Azurda travels through the world, players will see familiar characters and sights from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, including flying ships, Titans and vast kingdoms. Characters from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will make appearances as well, so fans of the game should always be on the lookout to see who will pop up.
