Yakuza franchise developer, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, announced this week that they will hold a special 15th anniversary livestream for the Yakuza series. This stream will take place on December 8. The stream will include a look back on the entire franchise along with including word on "future developments" for the series.

As of right now, we have no idea what these "future developments" could entail. It may be an announcement of a new game, or maybe DLC, or maybe ports of older titles to other platforms like Xbox or PC. We just do not know yet. You are welcome to tune in to the stream on the 8th to try to find out, but you will probably have to know and understand Japanese to get much out of it.

What we do know so far is that several guests will make appearances during the stream. These guests include Kazuma Kiryu's voice actor Takaya Kuroda and Kasuga Ichiban's actor Kazuhiro Nakaya. For those unaware, the voice actor for Ichiban also voiced acted for Nishikiyama in the earlier games. These two will be there alongside the franchise's general director Toshihiro Nagoshi and chief producer Masayoshi Yokoyama.

You will be able to watch this stream over on YouTube starting on December 8 at 6AM (ET).
