Sega and the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio just released their "noir action thriller" Lost Judgment for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Those of you on the PS4 and XB1 that pick the game up will be able to upgrade to the next-gen versions for free when or if you get a next-gen console.

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio detailed the digital content roadmap for Lost Judgment. Those that pre-order the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game will get bonus content both at launch and afterwards. There will also be an Early Access period starting on September 21 for the game that technically won't be out until September 24.

Those picking up those editions of the game can look forward to additional content...

The company is in "final negotiations" with creator Toshihiro Nagoshi.

The Chinese developer and publisher, NetEase, is reportedly in "final negotiations" with Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi to steal him away from Sega, the company he has been with sine 1989. Bloomberg reports that at NetEase, Nagoshi would build up a new team and develop new games for the company.

As of right now, a final contract and full extent of his duties have not yet been finalized....

Yakuza franchise developer, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, announced this week that they will hold a special 15th anniversary livestream for the Yakuza series. This stream will take place on December 8.
