Coming a decade after the original release.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered

PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners will get to experience the "thrill of the chase" once more when Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is released.Sadly, Nintendo Switch owners will need to wait a full week later, on November 13, for Hot Pursuit Remastered. I assume this has to do with adding that "don't eat this" protective coating to each cartridge.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will see the return of Autolog, which will allow players to "connect, compare, and compete with their friends." This release will include all of the main DLC that should offer roughly six hours of extra gameplay and over 30 new challenges.

EA and Criterion aren't saying too much here on what sort of graphical improvements have been made to the game for this release, only that there are graphical improvements. We also know that the game features a "deep" single-player career that will have you playing on both sides of the law at various times. The cops are able to use various weaponry to bust suspects while the racers have counterattacks and defensive maneuvers. Players are also able to take on their friends to earn Bounty and unlock new cars, weapons, and equipment.

This release will also feature all-new achievements, car colors, reduced hard stops, an updated photo mode, and "multiple quality of life updates." Post-launch support will be included and will see the release of additional car wraps for more customization options.

And now it's time for a weird trailer for the game.
