During today's PlayStation 5 Showcase, Sony showed off a number of launch titles for the PlayStation 5. One of those titles is none other than Demon's Souls, a remake of the original PlayStation 3 title. We already knew this game was coming. This isn't the news here.
The new news is that a new gameplay trailer for the game showed off today revealed that Demon's Souls is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 on consoles, but it is also coming to the PC. You can actually see that reveal at the end of the new gameplay trailer, seen below.
Interesting, it also suggests that it's only a timed-exclusive on the PlayStation 5. It says that it's "not available on other consoles for a limited time," which seems to suggest that we will see Demon's Souls appearing on the Xbox Series X at some point down the line.
Update 9/17/2020 at 4:06PM (ET): Re-added the trailer, embedded below. Please note that while the original video suggested that Demon's Souls would be coming first to PlayStation 5 and the PC, with "other consoles" to come later, this is factually incorrect.
Sony's new upload of the trailer says that Demon's Souls is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Period.
Whomever made that blunder in the first place for the first uploads are probably knee deep in the nervous sweats right now.
