  • Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC Out Now on Xbox

It was just a short time to wait.
Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC

Xbox One owners had about a month to wait for their chance to download and play the Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC. PlayStation 4 players were able to start playing at the end of January. Of course, there hasn't necessarily been a shortage of Kingdom Hearts games to play for those on Team Green.

Just last week, Xbox One owners were able to pick up the first Kingdom Hearts games through a couple of different package deals. This included the release of Kingdom Hearts - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX - and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.89 Final Chapter Prologue.

If you have somehow managed to burn through all of that content and still want more, you're in luck. Today, Square Enix released the Re Mind DLC for Kingdom Hearts III owners.

In Re Mind, players will get to experience an all-new playable episode with Sora and his pals. Sora will experience a variety of battles as he plays them out through the perspective of his friends. Along the way, Sora will find the truth to some deep, dark mysteries.

Just like the base game, the Re Mind DLC will feature "a star-studded voice cast." Buckle up, because you're about to get some knowledge dropped on you hard and fast.

KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind DLC features a star-studded voice cast including Haley Joel Osment (Future Man, The Boys, The Sixth Sense) as the protagonist Sora, Dylan Sprouse (After We Collided, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) as the mysterious Yozora, Christopher Lloyd (Going In Style, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Back to the Future) as the antagonist Master Xehanort, Bret Iwan (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey and the Roadster Racers) as Mickey Mouse, Jesse McCartney (Beautiful Soul, Alvin and the Chipmunks) as Ventus and Alyson Stoner (Step Up: All In, Camp Rock) as Kairi and Xion.
There are apparently 13 boss battles that players will encounter in the Limitcut episode and a boss battle in the Secret Episode. I really hope that's the actual name of the episode. In addition, there is the new Data Greeting mode, slideshow feature, and "Premium Menu" mode that includes a variety of difficulty settings and gameplay challenges for you hardcore Kingdom Hearts players out there.

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC will run you an additional $29.99 (USD) on either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Also of note today is the addition of the base game of Kingdom Hearts III to the Xbox Game Pass. This means that you can either purchase it for $59.99 (USD) or play through your active Game Pass subscription right now.

      by Shawn Zipay
Wow, Square really is serious about ditching platform exclusives.

The PC release of the Kingdom Hearts games happened way back in 2021. However, the PC release then did come with a catch and that catch was that it was exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Like many games that have come before and after it, many believed that it would be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a year at most.

That year turned to two, then two years became three years. Finally, after over a three-year...

Kingdom Hearts Series Coming to Switch
      by Shawn Zipay
The entire series will be playable through the power of the cloud.

Nintendo and Square Enix announce that the Kingdom Hearts series is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Specifically, ten Kingdom Hearts titles will be released on the Switch as three different standalone cloud releases. You can purchase the games separately or buy all of them at once with the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud version.

Why can't they just do normal names for these?

      Anyway,...
