This weekend, Capcom revealed the 40th character that will be added to Street Fighter V; Champion Edition. It is none other than returning fighter Seth. The "King of Chaos" themself and the boss from Street Fighter IV will be added to the Street Fighter V roster on February 14, 2020.
For those that played the previous entry in the popular fighting franchise, you may recall Seth looking quite a bit different than what you're seeing here. Seth has taken on a new form but still has the ability to be the "master move mimicker," and big fan of alliteration. After Seth was defeated in the previous game, their intelligence and "remnants of the biological brain" were transferred to a new physical form.
If the return of Seth wasn't enough to get you excited, perhaps you'll be happy to learn that Gill was just released. Gill, the final boss for Street Fighter III, makes use of a "wide variety of fire and ice attack options." Gill can be yours to play as for $5.99 (USD) or 100,000 Fight Money. His stage, Sun Chase Moon, is also out now for $3.99 or 70,000 Fight Money.
The latest update (Ver. 05.001) also includes new V-Skills for every character in Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. There is also a new battle balance update as part of the overall update. There are some general game improvements and character-specific updates included as well. These particular updates are free to everyone that owns the game.
