Street Fighter V: Champion Edition was released today by Capcom. This latest release of the fighting game includes 40 characters, 34 stages, over 200 costumes, and a bunch of other stuff.
Champion Edition includes all content from the base game and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Champion Edition also adds in the content that came out after Arcade Edition was released. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition features a number of modes such as Cinematic Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Team Battle, Ranked Match, Casual Match, and more. On top of that, today's release adds in Seth as the 40th fighter.
If you already own Street Fighter V in some form, you can pick up Seth separately for $5.99 (USD) or 100,000 in Fight Money.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is a new release of the game for the PlayStation 4 and PC. It is mainly geared towards those that do not yet own Street Fighter V at all. All game modes and balance updates have been free to everyone. The additional characters and content released over the game's many months of life do have a monetary value attached to them, with new characters at least being able to be purchased using in-game currency.
