Capcom announced that they are getting ready to release the ultimate version of Street Fighter V. On February 14, 2020, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will get a standalone release on the PlayStation 4 and PC. Included with the Champion Edition is the return of Gill to the roster.
Those of you who already own Street Fighter V in some capacity won't have to wait until February 2020 to get your hands on him. Starting in December 2019, Gill will be made available to players.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will include pretty much all of the content that has been released for the game. This includes 40 characters, 34 stages, over 200 costumes, and all game modes. It seems as though the only content not include in this release are the Fighting Chance costumes, brand collab costumes, and the Capcom Pro Tour DLC.
Girl, the leader of the Secret Society makes his return in Champion Edition. He utilizes both pyrokinesis and cryokinesis (that's fire and ice) in his attacks. He will be available for $5.99, or 100,000 Fight Money, starting in December.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will retail for $29.99 for new players. If you already own any version of Street Fighter V, you will be able to purchase an Upgrade Kit at $24.99. This kit provides access to all unowned Champion Edition content when it releases on February 14, 2020.
