We received word today that the first episode for the newest Living World chapter for Guild Wars 2 is about to be released on November 19. On Tuesday, November 19 the first full chapter of The Icebrood Saga will be released. This new chapter is entitled Whisper in the Dark and will not only introduce new story to Guild Wars 2 but also some new gameplay systems.
A new trailer was released today by ArenaNet showing off some of the content you will be able to dive into starting next week. Also, don't forget that there is currently a prologue that you can play through. It lays the groundwork for the next chapter that launches in a week.

Whisper in the Dark introduces a wealth of new features to the game, including:
- A new map, the Bjora Marches
- Four new multi-tier Mastery tracks fueled by norn spirit magic: Essence Manipulation and Raven Attunement
- Three new Strike Mission bosses, including the grim and sinister Boneskinner, that rotate weekly and provide unique rewards for players who defeat them
- A new two-tier upgradable Ancient Boreal weapon set
- A new Raven-inspired exotic scepter skin
- A campfire s’mores roasting kit
