Lord Zedd, one of the earlier big baddies in the Power Rangers franchise is back. A new update for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid introduces Lord Zedd as a playable fighter. This update also adds in a third act for the game's Story Mode, and also introduces "numerous gameplay improvements."
Now, Lord Zedd is a piece of paid DLC, but the Story Act III content is free to everyone with the 1.4 update to the game. Lord Zedd is available as part of the $14.99 (USD) Season One Pass that also includes Trey of Triforia and Jenn Scotts as character, plus Jason Lee Scott with Dragon Shield character skin. Lord Zedd can also just be purchased separately for $5.99.
Zedd and the update are available now for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. A PC release of the game is still supposedly coming this Summer on Steam.
- Lord Zedd (Season One - Character 3): The self-proclaimed "Emperor of Evil," Lord Zedd has conquered and enslaved much of the galaxy. Initially leaving the "insignificant" Earth for Rita Repulsa to conquer, he returns to punish her for her failure and finish what she started.
- Story Act III: The Finale: Lord Drakkon and his army continue to travel through dimensions, conquering the Rangers and threatening all existence. With the fate of reality at stake, Zordon and Commander Cruger ask Rita Repulsa to join forces in order to stop Lord Drakkon and his powerful army. Tune into Act III and find out if Rita has been convinced to join the Rangers to defeat her old apprentice.
