Blizzard released a new cinematic video today for World of Warcraft. We see Varok Saurfang paying a visit to an old leader of the Horde. This particular cinematic is for the Rise of Azshara content update (8.2) for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. This new content update includes features like equipment slots on mounts, new zones (Nazjatar & Mechagon), a new raid (Azshara's Eternal Palace), and more.
Now, can someone explain to me why Blizzard just hasn't made their own full-length film yet? Because it seems like it's a thing that totally should have happened by now for at least one of their franchises. The quality on these just continues to be so incredibly impressive.
It was a mix of live-action and CGI that managed to look worse than many of Blizzard's in-house cinematics. It was the typical Hollywood crap adaptation and was made by Legendary Pictures.
I'm talking about Blizzard themselves doing their own fully CG film.
