A new tabletop player has entered the game. Square Enix announces Tomb Raider Legends: The Board Game. Slated for release in May 2019, players are now able to pre-purchase this actual, physical board game for $59.99 from the Square Enix Store and from select retailers.
The game sounds like it plays out a lot like a typical Tomb Raider title. Players will assume the role of Lara Croft as she seeks out a hidden artifact. Players will encounter a number of dangers, explore mysterious ruins, fend off threats, and grow both their skills and arsenal to try to achieve victory.
Square Enix says that the game will include about a dozen possible areas to uncover, with a variety of outcomes that can happen. Those that are PAX East 2019 will be able to hit up the Square Enix booth to check out Tomb Raider Legends: The Board Game for themselves.
