Crimson Curse is the newly announced and first ever expansion for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. This expansion centers on Dettlaff van der Eretein, the nasty vampire that players first encountered in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine. He's back and with him comes new monsters, new villains, and new heroes.
This expansion will add in over 100 new cards across all playable factions in GWENT. New afflictions include Poison and Bleeding. Players will now also be able to use Shield and Vitality for defense moves. New offensive moves include Deathblow and Berserk. As usual, there are both standard and premium animated variants of each card.
Crimson Curse is slated to hit GWENT on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 28, 2019.
