Another Indie and Dark Star Game Studios released some new content today for the PC version of Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption. This game not only has new content available today on PC, but it also marks the day in which the game is out on Steam. It was previously available only through the Discord Store. Those of you who have or want the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch shouldn't worry though. The new content will be making it to you by the end of the month.
New game modes apply various modifiers to the gameplay. One may increase your speed at the cost of being able to roll. Another modifier will give you just a single life, so be sure to use it wisely. In addition to these new modes, a new boss, Cowardly Modic, was also added. Cowardly Modic is literally a giant armored chicken. Defeating them will reward you with some new weapons.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is kind of like Dark Souls but a bit more straight-forward.
Adam’s quest for redemption continues with the addition of a new non sequitur boss to defeat - a giant armored chicken. Armed with a deadly peck and minion-spawning eggs, Cowardly Modic pits Adam against his fowl-est challenger yet. Two new weapon sets, twin swords and a sword and shield combo, add fresh options to an already powerful arsenal, each harnessing the power of conquered bosses.
In addition to a new boss and weapons, three more challenges await in New Game+. The Trial of Speed grants Adam swiftness in exchange for losing invulnerability during dodge rolls, while the Trial of Consequence restricts Adam to a single life and Trial of the Sinner fuses both into the ultimate test of skill.
