Diablo Immortal

Yesterday, news about Blizzard's upcoming year got a bit lost in the shuffle and understandably so. However, during yesterday's earnings call with investors, it was revealed that Blizzard has no "frontline release" planned for the 2019 fiscal year.

In short: This means they aren't going to release any new titles in the next year. Yes, this includes the oft pined for desktop Diablo 4.

Activision Blizzard president Collister Johnson had this to say during the call.

"We expect materially lower financial performance this year. 2018 benefited from the release of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, whereas we are not planning a major frontline release for 2019."
That seems about as straight to the point as you can get.

However, it does beg the question about what is going on with the highly anticipated Diablo Immortal mobile title, or even the PC release of World of Warcraft Classic. Are these not getting released in 2019 or are they not considered "frontline releases" by definition?
