Get your wallets ready because the hype train will undoubtedly suck you in despite whatever ill-will you may have towards Bungie or the state of Destiny 2 as it has existed for months. What was I saying? Oh yeah, Bungie revealed the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2 alongside yet another Annual Pass that promises even more content after the release of Forsaken.

You know how this all goes by now.

Bungie made the big reveal during a live stream earlier today. In it, they showed off not one, not two, but three different packages you will be able to purchase to get your Destiny 2: Forsaken fix. I mean you could get the basic version that starts at $39.99 (USD), but you're only going to get the Forsaken expansion. Maybe you should instead think about stepping it up to the Forsaken + Annual Pass package that includes what it says for just $69.99 (USD). But then I mean, at that point, what's a few extra dollars, right? You may as well get the Forsaken Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99 (USD). You'd be a fool not too!

Alright, so what're we getting here with Forsaken? Let's first take a look at just the basic edition that goes for only $40.

And here is the extra "Annual Pass" content that you'll get with the $70 purchase.
Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass
Alongside seasonal updates and live events available to every Destiny 2 player, Forsaken Annual Pass provides bonus rewards and introduces three premium content releases (anticipated in Winter 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019).

And these are the items you will get if you pay for the most expensive Digital Deluxe Edition.
The Awoken Legend Set

Pre-orders are available now for all versions of the game including PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will be released on September 4. Go ahead, pick your poison now. You know you're going to anyway.
