I know you're all huge anime fans that visit the beautiful and always on time Total Gaming Network, so this news should be right up your alley. We have the schedule for the 2017 Anime Expo, which takes place from July 1-4 at the LA Convention Center.

Saturday, July 1
• 9:00am – Taiko drummers welcome visitors prior to:
• 9:45 PROMPTLY: Ribbon cutting ceremony by Akira Himekawa and Lemon & Sugar, who will be joined by Adrienne Lindgren representing Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, and SPJA executives. (South Hall Lobby)
• 1-2:30pm – Anime Expo Welcome Ceremony – a rally with an introduction of special guests, a taste of AX’s interactive experiences, and a special performance by Mari Iijima. (Main Events – West Hall – Hall B)
• 3:30-4:30pm – J-Pop dance workshop (AX Dance – Concourse Hall)

Sunday, July 2
• 10-11:00am – Maid Café – Inspired by the maid cafes of Akihabara, this event, one of the most popular of AX has cute and courteous maids entertaining -- they may break out in song and dance or join your table to play a game, enjoy a drink and an interactive show. (Room 515B)
• 4-6:30pm – Fashion Show – Japan is home to some of the most cutting-edge fashion trends in the world, and each year, Anime Expo takes pride in its efforts to showcase and introduce a variety of Japanese fashion. (Petree Hall – Hall CD)
• 8-10pm – Masquerade: Cosplay and performance individual competition where participants dress up as anime, manga comic and video game characters with one of the largest cash prizes in the country. Hosted this year by Ezra Weisz, performers of all skill levels dazzle with their creativity.
Within the Masquerade, the World Cosplay Summit preliminary contest with teams from around the world will be competing to participate in the finals in Japan. (West Hall – Hall B)

Monday, July 3
• 11:00am-1:00pm – Sailor Moon Panel - Sailor Moon Day is packed with glitter! VIZ Media as well as many members of the cast of Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal provide a festive time filled with news, updates and more from everyone's favorite Guardian of Love and Justice. (Petree Hall – Hall CD)
• 2:30-3:30pm – Night Café provides a variety of evening entertainment and games hosted by artist, entertainer and cat fanatic, Steven D’Onofrio. (Room 403A)
• 8-2:00am – Neon District – Electronic Dance Music concert featuring an eclectic lineup of Japanese DJs. A taste of Tokyo’s underground scene. (West Hall – Hall B)

Tuesday, July 4
• 12:30-2:30pm – Wig styling techniques workshop with professional wig stylist Pisara (Room 406AB)
• 5:30-7:00pm – Anime Expo Closing Ceremony – The final goodbye to Anime Expo 2017 will include video highlights of the convention, live performances by various artists, and exciting previews for AX 2018! (West Hall – Hall B)
