Nintendo let the world know today that the Switch will be a welcoming environment for Indie titles, at least in 2017. The company announced that 64 Indie games are slated to be released on the Switch throughout the rest of the year. Nintendo put their own spin on these games by calling them "Nindies."

The Nintendo eShop will be included in a system update that should be out by the time you receive your consoles on March 3. You will need to download this update in order to access the eShop and thus some of these Nindies.
