Currently, the map scale in American Truck Simulator is 1:35. Under a new announcement by SCS Software, the new scale will move to 1:20, which equates to a 75% increase in road length outside of cities.

SCS Software says that this won't be a quick process. If anything, the updated scale is going to take months to complete.
