Capcom has apologized to the Resident Evil fanbase today for their broken promises when it came to the release of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. The broken promise in question? They removed local co-op from the game and mentions of it from the Steam page shortly before the game launched on the platform.

According to a statement issued to PC Gamer from a Capcom representative, refunds are being offered to Steam users that are dissatisfied with the game due to the removal of local co-op.
