Earlier this week, we announced that gameplay footage from a previously canceled Iron Man game had been leaked online. This footage originated from a project that Avalanche Studios was developing in the early 2010s. In the conclusion of that article, we emphasized that although Avalanche's Iron Man game is no longer in production, EA Motive is actively developing a new Iron Man game.
Well, it seems like footage from that EA Motive developed Iron Man game has now also leaked online. The footage started to circulate across social media on Friday, August 28. The footage is little more than some random clips pieced together showing Iron Man doing Iron Man things like flying around a city, shooting missiles and lasers, and beating up some bad guys. We also get a brief glimpse of what appears to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier and some other characters.
The footage seems like it may have been taken from a longer or larger trailer that was created from an early development build of the game.
In case there was any doubt about the authenticity of the footage, EA Motive confirmed afterward that the leak was very real.
