Square Enix shared a fresh look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation this week at gamescom. The new trailer shared by the developer offers a longer look at the Weapons, those hulking guardians of the planet that make no distinction between friend and foe.
This third and final entry in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Series includes epic battles on desert sands, high in the sky, and even in the depths of the sea. Yep, Square Enix is including the submarine section from the original Final Fantasy 7 in Revelation, which was a total shock to actually see.
The new gamescom trailer also provided a look at the new Typhon summon, parachuting around the open world, the grappling hook, Chocobo mounts, and a look at Cloud and Tifa in their Warrior and Black Mage FITS. The "FITS" is the name Square Enix has assigned to the system wherein you can change a character's job/profession/role by changing their outfit.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is coming to PlayStation 5, Switch 2, XBOX Series X|S, Steam, and Epic in Spring 2027.
