Microsoft to Sell Stand-Alone Kinect for $150 in October
So, if I did the math correctly here, buying an Xbox One without a Kinect is $400 (USD). If you later decide that you want the Kinect, that will run another $150. Combined, that is $550, which is somehow $50 more than if you bought the Xbox One bundled with a Kinect in the first place!
Oh Microsoft, you crafty devils you!
The actual "news" bit of this article here is that Microsoft is going to sell a stand-alone Kinect sensor starting on October 6 for $150. I suppose that is going to be an option for those that want to get a Kinect, really hate math, and have money to burn? I don't know what sane group this is being marketed to.
