The Steam Couch Co-op Fest is now live. This is a week long event ending February 17 at 10AM PT that features sales on hundreds of games that support couch co-op.
This means that you can play these games while sitting next to someone in the same physical space. It's kind of like playing co-op games online but with the other person being right there. It's how us old folk played multiplayer and co-op video games before the Internet was created.
Besides there being a bunch of games on sale, there are also a bunch of new and returning demos of games to try out. If you don't have someone to play these games with near you, Steam's Remote Play Together will help out there. Remote Play Together is like online co-op which is like couch co-op but online.
