Earlier today during that Nintendo Direct Mini, Valve announced that Portal: The Companion Collection is now officially available on the Nintendo Switch. The going price is just $19.99 (USD) and can be purchased right now from My Nintendo Store.
Valve worked with NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios on Portal: The Companion Collection. Today's release offers Switch players two games in one bundle. Those games are obviously the first Portal and Portal 2. It features local, split-screen, and online multiplayer. The games have been optimized to run at 60FPS and "up to" full HD resolution (1080p). It may be safe to assume that it will hit 1080p only when using the Switch in docked mode.
"We're excited to be able to introduce Nintendo Switch players to the world of Portal," said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations. "Working together with Valve, we believe the Companion Collection is a natural fit for Nintendo Switch."
