After what must have felt like forever, Hollow Knight fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong, will be released on September 4, 2025.
The release date was announced during a new two-minute long trailer from Team Cherry. The trailer not only included the release date but it also showed off new gameplay footage for the game. The trailer also shares that the game will feature graveyards, swamps, a city, over 200 new enemies, over 40 new bosses, and more.
Silksong was first announced back in 2019 for the original Switch and PC. It was then announced to also be in development for Xbox, Switch2, Game Pass, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Those who are in attendance at gamescom are actually able to play Hollow Knight: Silksong this week.
