  • Dying Light: The Beast Delayed Until September

    Just an extra month.
Delay announcement for the game, now set to release on September 19, 2025.

A bit of sad news today out of Techland. The studio says that they have decided to delay the release of Dying Light: The Beast by four weeks. This moves the game's release from August 22, 2025 to September 19, 2025.

Techland says that despite the overall positive response to previews that went out this week, the studio says they would like to take an extra four weeks "to allow for extra polishing work." They specifically note that they want to work on "finetuning the balance of gameplay elements, looking into clarity of UI, increasing the quality of physics, as well as tweaking cutscenes and player animations further."

Techland says that they're still going to provide regular updates from them. There's also going to be a playable demo for Dying Light: The Beast at gamescom in Hall 6. Next week, Techland will share an update on the game's gore system.
