Xbox Massively Increases Prices for all Hardware with Game Prices Moving to $80
Prices have gone up globally.
Effectively immediately, the pricing on all Xbox consoles, controllers, headsets, and other peripherals have been increased. In an announcement made today, Xbox says that the price increase on consoles and accessories begins May 1 with pricing on some Xbox games going up to $79.99 for the holiday season.

Upwards of 400 employees have just been let go.
Bloomberg reports that Electronic Arts is laying off between 300 and 400 employees as well as canceling a Titanfall game that was in development at Respawn Entertainment.
