God Save Birmingham is an upcoming zombie survival game with a bit of a twist on the usual formula. Instead of taking place in modern times, God Save Birmingham takes place in 14th century Birmingham, England.
As is the case with many of these open-world zombie survival titles, you will have to forage for supplies while fending off a huge number of undead friends and neighbors. The press release states that you will be able to take in "the historically accurate sights" (if you exclude the zombie part of that).
The new trailer released today actually offers about eight minutes of gameplay footage from the game. You can currently add the game to your Steam Wishlist, though a release date is not yet known. Those going to PAX East this May will be able to check out more of the game.
In the IGN exclusive, players get a glimpse of what it will be like to step into the boots of a simple British farmer in mediaeval Birmingham. As if surviving the black plague wasn’t hard enough, players now have to battle a whole different sort of blight - Zombies. Brummie Zombies!
