Tomorrow (March 30) a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will be released. There will be far more coming for those with Cold War but Warzone fans won't be left completely out in the cold. While Cold War owners will get new maps and modes, Warzone players will get a new sniper rifle and some new operators.

Now, there is some good news and some bad news here for Warzone fans. The good news is that after tomorrow's update, the install size for Warzone will actually be smaller than before! The bad news is that in order to get to that point, you need to download a massive update. How massive this update is depends on your platform of choice and which multiplayer components you have installed.

Here are the download sizes as noted in the latest blog post.

• PC: 52.4 GB (Warzone Only) / 133.6 GB (Warzone and Modern Warfare)
• PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4: 52.0 GB
• Xbox Series X / Series S / One: 57.8 GB
Yep, you read that correctly. If you have Warzone and Modern Warfare installed at the same time, your update tomorrow will run you 133GB in size. If you aren't playing Modern Warfare's multiplayer anymore, you may want to remove that install before tomorrow's update.

The good news is that after those downloads are complete and installed, the install size will have shrunk significantly from their current values. On the PC alone, Warzone's install will have shrunk by 11.8GB with Modern Warfare shrinking by about 30GB.

It's still not exactly clear what all is included in that 52.4GB update for Warzone as the only thing seen on the Season Two Reloaded roadmap is that there will be more zombies showing up throughout the map. Some have speculated that the large file size includes the beginnings of a rumored new map that is coming to Warzone after the season concludes.
