Activision provided an update today about how they are continuing to combat toxic behavior and racist names in Call of Duty. Over the past 12 months, the studio says that they have banned over 350,000 accounts from Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Mobile. These bans are in addition to their ever ongoing efforts to catch and ban cheaters.

Beginning May 19, the world of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will get a little more action-y. It is on this date that John McClane from Die Hard and Rambo from his self-entitled autobiography will begin to make their debut in the game.

Tomorrow (March 30) a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will be released. There will be far more coming for those with Cold War but Warzone fans won't be left completely out in the cold. While Cold War owners will get new maps and modes, Warzone players will get a new sniper rifle and some new operators.

There will be a tasty new double XP weekend coming soon for both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. The increased experience gains will be earned towards player levels, weapon levels, and also the battle pass. Introduced as part of the latest patch.

Treyarch just released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. This patch, among the other changes, introduces a brand new hardcore playlist to the mix. It's a hardcore option for Moshpit, a playlist that cycles between some of the game's most popular modes and maps.

This new hardcore mode should be welcome to those that feel as though the TTK (time to kill) has gotten to be a bit too high in the Cold War multiplayer...

Another freebie to enjoy.

Activision has gone ahead and made the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War totally free to play until December 24, 2020. The free offer actually began yesterday, but we weren't made aware of it until today. Please accept our sincere apologies.

This is the first of two planned updates.

Starting tomorrow, the biggest update to Call of Duty's multiplayer mode will be rolled out. Ahead of this major Season One update for the game, Treyarch released the first of two planned patches for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone.

The first patch for Black Ops Cold War ranges in size between 3.7GB to 7.1GB depending on platform. A larger patch for Warzone players will arrive around 11PM (PT) tonight....

Double XP has been extended for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Apparently, fans were rather upset about how short of a time the ongoing double XP event was and Treyarch responded with some positive news. In short, the double XP will last for an extra day. Beta begins on October 8.

A new trailer is out today for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer beta. This beta is slated to begin on the PlayStation 4 platform on Thursday, October 8. Those who are eligible to play this beta early are those that pre-ordered the game.
