  • EA Boasts Battlefield 6 was 'Biggest Beta in Battlefield History'

They talk about how it had the most players but don't actually give a number.

The two beta weekends for Battlefield 6 have come and gone, which means it's time for an infographic. Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios made one such infographic, providing a lot of fun little stats about things that happened over the past couple of weekends.

First up, they say that the recent beta (or betas) made this the biggest beta in Battlefield history. The infographic itself also says how this was the most players in the history of Battlefield betas. Unfortunately, they don't actually provide actual player numbers in neither the infographic nor their community update.

Aside from knowing that there were 337,556,699 kills made with shotguns, Battlefield Studios also shared a few things they will be tweaking ahead of the game's full release on October 10, 2025.

For weapons, there will be some tweaks to recoil and tap-fire and the M87A1 shotgun will need more pellets to kill. They are also tweaking momentum a bit, especially for slides. They will also tweak parachute physics with reduced initial acceleration.

They're also working on fixing maps from the beta that allowed people to access rooftops. Those in Battlefield Labs will soon be testing a couple of Battlefield 6's larger maps: Mirak Valley and Operation Firestorm.

The post also talks briefly about potential changes to game modes, player count limits, and more.
