As was expected, DICE and EA dropped a new trailer this morning for Battlefield V's sixth chapter, Into the Jungle. Today, the studios showed off a new trailer for the upcoming chapter, plus dropped some information on the extent of the new content players can expect going forward.
Chapter 6, Into the Jungle, launches on February 6. This chapter will continue the fight between the United States and Japan. Instead of open beaches, this new chapter will take you to the jungle. It's literally just one jungle. There is only one map planned for the chapter.
There is some other content planned for this chapter, but it's nothing too out of the ordinary. This new content includes new weapons, gadgets, skins, and yes, new Elites to purchase. To make this all easier to digest, let's take a look at the new content by the numbers.
1 - New Map
This map was the only one shown off in today's trailer (see below). DICE has also noted that there is only this one new map coming by way of their Chapter 6 landing page.
This map is a close-quarters map. It's called Solomon Islands and in addition to the dense jungle, the map also includes hidden bunkers, rivers, and marshes. DICE says that they "designed Solomon Islands for intimate jungle infantry combat combined with land and sea vehicle warfare." Based on what was said, DICE seems to have made this map with the Breakthrough mode in mind.

1 (Again) - Premium Booster Pack
In Chapter 6, DICE is offering a Chapter 6 Premium Booster Pack.
This pack is only available for real money. When purchased, it will give you 2,000 Battlefield Currency, three Special Assignments, a 20% Chapter XP Boost, six Tier Catch-Ups (to jump reward tiers in the Chapter Rank progression), and two Epic level soldier outfits. These Epic outfits include Overlord for the United States and Homeland Guardian for Japan.

3 - New Elites
In Chapter 6, DICE will introduce no fewer than three new Elites to the game. Keep in mind that Elites are specially designed character models that have specialized, set loadouts. They also have unique visual looks and unique voicework.
Elites can be obtained by purchasing them for real money. One exception here is that Misaki Yamashiro can be yours for free by completing all 40 ranks for this season.
The three new Elites are Misaki Yamashiro, a "highly skilled assault specialist." There is also Steve Fisher, flyboy that many in the community have already dubbed Johnny Cage. He seems to have more in common with Tom Cruise from Top Gun more than anything else though. Finally there is Akira Sakamoto, an "accomplished Zero pilot" that utilizes a broken Control Stick for his melee.
On the bright side, these Elites offer no functional advantage over the regular characters.

12 - Chapter Ranks that Reward Company Coin

40 - The total number of Chapter Ranks
There are 40 total Chapter Ranks that you can earn unlocks in for Chapter 6.
Of these 40 ranks, 12 of them reward Company Coin. Some of them reward the new weapons and gadgets mentioned above. The rest are cosmetic and skin unlocks.
There are also the Weekly Challenges that will earn you additional rewards such as cosmetics or perhaps Company Coin.
