Capcom revealed the four characters that will join the fighting roster of Street Fighter 6 in Year 4. Of the four, the most notable and most recognizable is Tifa from Final Fantasy 7. Specifically, this Tifa will be the one from the Final Fantasy 7 Remake titles.
Tifa will join the brand-new fighters of Yasmine and Arjun. They will be joined by the second protagonist of the World Tour mode, Bosch. According to Capcom's website, Yasmine will be out in summer, Arjun in the fall, Tifa is early 2027, and Bosch is spring 2027.
Capcom says that Year 4 Character and Ultimate Passes are now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can also pre-order it on the Switch 2. There's also some sales currently live for the base game and the Years 1-2 Fighters Edition.
- Yasmine (Summer 2026), a highschooler hailing from the Philippines joins the fight to search for her long-lost brother. Despite her shy and gentle demeanor, Yasmine beams with confidence whenever she uses her crescent-shaped karambit knife to dance around her opponents at high speed just like her Lolo taught her.
- Arjun (Autumn 2026) uses extraordinary lung capacity combined with yogic breathing to unleash explosive power with his unique Bare-knuckle Yoga techniques. While working as a police officer in India Arjun was accused of killing a colleague and now lives on the run while he searches for the true culprit.
- Tifa (Early 2027) is a highly skilled practitioner of Zangan-ryu Martial Arts and a member of the “Avalanche” resistance group. During her journey with her companions, she is unexpectedly transported to another world where she encounters and bonds with new fighters. Tifa excels in close-range combat, combining martial arts techniques with unique powers called Abilities.
- Bosch (Spring 2027) departed his home nation of Nayshall to pursue the true meaning of strength and eventually wins the sacred martial arts tournament. His travels brought him to Metro City where he trained under Luke to incorporate modern combat methods into the ancient techniques of Nayshall’s warrior faith.
